DESCRIPTION:A Conversation with Gerard Brown and Michelle Holzapfel. We are pleased to present a special event to punctuate the conclusion of the exhibit which has inaugurated our new space in Old City. We will welcome two speakers on April 21st who will lead a public conversation focused on contemporary studio art. Gerard Brown\, professor at Tyler School of Art at Temple University\, artist\, writer and curator of Turning to Art in Wood: A Creative Journey exhibit; and Michelle Holzapfel\, artist and writer. Michelle sculpted the beautiful hand with bowl titled “Self Portrait\,” which has been a favorite of all the visitors to the exhibit. The speakers will compare and contrast their individual experiences and insights on the wood field and related topics. \nPlease join this lively conversation and bring your questions and own insights! Please RSVP. \n$10 donation at the door.
